Free audit terms
The terms for the free 30-minute call and the free one-page audit, in plain words. Reviewed by counsel before launch.
What the free offers include
| What it is | A conversation about your product, your goals and what to test next. |
|---|---|
| What it costs | Nothing, and it commits you to nothing. |
| Who takes part | Whoever knows the product: product, design or engineering. |
| What it is | One page, screen or document, tested by hand against WCAG 2.2, with the findings written up. |
|---|---|
| One page means | One web address, or one screen in an app, or one document. Commit to an audit and that page is audited completely, free of charge. Further pages are charged. |
| How many | One free audit per organisation. |
What we need from you
- A page we can reach: a signed-out link, or a test account with the access that page needs.
- An email address for the findings. We reply within two working days.
- Your word that we may test the page. Never send production data, personal data, or credentials you use anywhere else.
What happens to what we find
- The findings are yours to keep, share and act on.
- We do not name your product, your findings or your company without written permission.
- We keep the notes and the report, and we never share them with anyone else. Read the privacy notice.
Limits of the free offers
- A free one-page audit is not a substitute for a full audit, and automated checks alone are never an audit.
- Fixes are not retested as part of the free offer. A full audit includes a retest of every fix.
- We report what passes and what fails. We never promise legal compliance, a lawsuit outcome or a barrier-free certificate.
If you go on to paid work
Nothing in the free offers obliges you to buy anything. Paid work starts from a written scope: what we test, with which methods, against which standard, for what fee. The general terms cover that, and the proposal you sign wins over both pages.
