Frequently asked questions
Ten straight answers. Ask us anything else on the free call.
How long does an audit take?
Scope decides it. One flow and a whole product are different jobs. We give you a timeline with the proposal, once the free call settles scope.
Do you work with companies outside India?
Yes. We test for teams in India and abroad, and report against WCAG, ADA, Section 508, the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549 as needed.
Can you fix the issues for us?
We guide your developers with concrete fixes and review the result. Your team ships the change, which keeps knowledge in house.
What do you need from us?
Access to the product: a staging build by default, or production where you ask us to test it. One contact who answers questions, and agreement on scope. Design reviews need view access to the design files instead.
How do you keep our data safe?
We test a staging build by default, and production only where you ask us to. We share findings only with the people you name. Nothing you give us is used to train or test our own tools, and none of it is entered into any training set or record.
Do you promise legal compliance?
No. We test against the standards and report exactly what passes and fails. Legal calls stay with your counsel; our reports give them the evidence.
What counts as an accessibility issue?
Any place where a disabled person is stopped from doing what everyone else can do: a field whose label is not bound to it, a control a keyboard cannot reach, an image that carries information with no text alternative, or an error message that never reaches a screen reader. We rate each one by severity, so the order comes from impact and not from the count. The free ADA compliance checker names the markup ones on a page you paste in.
Do your testers hold a certification?
Yes. Our testers hold Trusted Tester certification, the US federal testing credential for Section 508 work. It describes a method and a habit of documenting findings, which is the thing we actually sell.
Can you certify our website as accessible?
No, and no credible supplier can. There is no certification scheme that makes a website accessible. What exists is an audit against a named standard and level, with a date and a scope, and a statement you publish. We deliver the audit, help you write the website accessibility statement, and name exactly what was and was not tested.
Where do web accessibility lawsuits fit in?
Most US web accessibility lawsuits are brought under Title III of the ADA in a federal court, and they arrive with a short deadline to respond. An audit that names the criterion, the steps to reproduce and the fix is the evidence a lawyer works from. The dated changes, with their sources, sit on accessibility news.
